Assistant Project Manager - Transport Container Team

Nuvia, a subsidiary of VINCI construction, is an international company operating across highly regulated sectors, including Civil Nuclear. We have a strong presence and history of delivery at nuclear sites in the UK and internationally.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Transport Container team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for deploying your expertise and techniques across the entire life-cycle of engineering consultancy projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, or a related field, with experience in managing projects from concept design to delivery. You will be responsible for preparing project plans, assessing tenderer costs, maintaining project records, and producing progress reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare project plans and delivery strategies
  • Assess tenderer costs and performance indicators
  • Maintain project records and costs
  • Produce progress reports for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Provide input for tender responses, including estimating, scheduling, and risk collation
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years' experience in project management or engineering
  • Excellent Excel skills for project reporting
  • Financial management experience
  • Project cost experience, including hands-on monitoring and reforecasting
  • Engineering, science, or project management qualification
