Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare project plans and delivery strategies in collaboration with team members.
  • Assess tenderer costs, performance indicators, and let subcontracts.
  • Maintain project cost records, compare with plans, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Produce periodic progress reports for customers and internal stakeholders, including financial reports.
  • Identify and assess project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to tender responses, including estimating, scheduling, and risk collation.
Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years' experience in Project Management/Engineering, preferably in an engineering, nuclear, defence, or highly regulated environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills for project reporting.
  • Financial management experience.
  • Project cost experience, including hands-on monitoring and reforecasting.
  • Engineering, Science, or Project Management qualification.
