Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at LTF Recruitment Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with subject teachers and the SENDCo to support teaching and learning, by working with individuals or small groups of pupils with additional learning needs.
• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities to pupils' needs as appropriate.
• Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, relating to the needs of students you are supporting.
• Support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils in each group you are supporting.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to attainment and progress under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist with the development of individual learning plans for students identified with special educational needs and disabilities.

Requirements:
• Holds a relevant Supporting Teaching & Learning Qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
• Comes with at least 6 month educational based experience (essential).
• Has a strong knowledge and practical understanding of Special Needs (SEN).
• Is passionate about supporting SEN and keen to ensure that students make continued progress.
• Holds a valid and up to date DBS Certificate.
