We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Secretarial Manager to join our Business Services and Outsourcing team in Guildford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing company secretarial support to clients across the Southern Region, working closely with other BSO managers, local tax and audit teams, and collaborating with colleagues from other regions and network offices.
Key Responsibilities- Advise staff on all aspects of company secretarial work, including compliance and advisory services.
- Undertake advisory work for clients, including preparing pricing for new opportunities and producing proposals.
- Supervise junior staff and provide coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Contribute to the management of company secretarial business development activity, including identifying and converting opportunities to sell work.
- Support the wider company secretarial team on issues including resourcing, compliance, and risk management.
- Graduate, associate, or fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA).
- Experience in a managerial position in a professional firm, listed PLC, or dedicated company secretarial provider.
- Experience of using Diligent Entities (formerly Blueprint) company secretarial software.
- Ability to communicate and work with BDO staff at all levels, as well as directors of client companies and their professional advisers.
- Familiarity with financial statements.
- Business development experience, including the ability to contribute to the identification and conversion of opportunities to sell work.
