About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Native Android Engineer to join our client in Central London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing high-quality, feature-rich Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the existing Android platform, driving its further development and growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a leading-edge product that has gained significant attention, including TV features.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing robust and efficient Android apps with a strong focus on user experience
  • Maintaining and expanding the current Android platform
  • Collaborating with the iOS engineer to ensure seamless integration and cross-platform functionality
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Native Android app development
  • In-depth knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Proven track record of working in start-up environments or greenfield projects
  • Able to work independently, making technical decisions and driving project progress
  • Experience with testing, MVVM architecture, and Coroutines is a significant advantage
