Rise Up, a dynamic charity dedicated to empowering young people aged 16-30 who face barriers to employment, seeks a Career Development Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in connecting young people with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Your primary responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for inbound referrals, assessing individual needs, matching mentees with suitable mentors, and providing ongoing support throughout their journey towards employment.
**Job Description:**
In this role, you will serve as the first port of call for young people referred to the charity, completing start-point assessments to understand their backgrounds, aspirations, and barriers to employment. We are seeking a passionate individual who is committed to empowering young people and helping them overcome barriers to employment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as previous experience in mentoring, youth work, or a similar role. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, proficiency in using tracking systems, and experience in delivering training sessions or webinars are highly desirable. Estimated salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
