Job Opportunity: Head of Community Health and Care Services

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to lead our healthcare team as the Head of Community Health and Care Services for a prison in the Greater Manchester area.

About the Role:

  • Direct accountability for providing high-quality, evidence-based practice clinical and operational healthcare.
  • Strong people management skills, leading by example and supporting the team to deliver high-quality services to patients.
  • Accountability for delivering the contract and monitoring performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders, including Directors, Deputy Directors, and other Heads of Healthcare.
  • Engagement with patients to improve their experience and deliver high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Registered healthcare professional with current appropriate registration (e.g., Nurse with NMC membership).
  • Experience at a senior level in a management operational role within a healthcare environment, working in a complex environment with multiple health professions.
  • Knowledge of the effective application of the Health & Social Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation.
