Job Title: Children Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Support Worker to join our team. As a Children Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and development of children and young people
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans and strategies to meet the individual needs of children and young people
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of child development and the needs of vulnerable children and young people
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
