Reliability Maintenance Engineering Role

About the Job

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at ENGINEERINGUK is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our machinery to prevent downtime and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, using advanced tools and techniques to minimize downtime.
  3. Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop and implement continuous improvement projects, enhancing the operational environment and promoting best practices across the organization.
  4. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.
  5. Work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock, allowing ENGINEERINGUK to deliver at the speed we're known for.

About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is a dynamic and collaborative group of professionals who share a passion for maintaining and improving our equipment. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring.
  • Experience working with print and apply machines.
  • Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
