Support Professional for Learning Disability Services

We are seeking a dedicated Support Professional to join our team in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism in our supported living services in Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge areas.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and support networks to promote their health, wellbeing, and independence. Our supported living services enable individuals to lead fulfilling lives, maintain tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills, and achieve their desired outcomes.
Key responsibilities include providing direct care and support, acting as a Key Worker to support individuals in achieving their goals, and contributing to a positive team approach. A 'can-do' attitude, person-centred values, energy, and commitment are essential qualities for this role.
A strong work ethic, duty of care, and good verbal and written communication skills are required. You will also need the ability to develop high-quality support plans and work effectively as part of a team.
The role involves working on a flexible rota, including full-time contracts of 37.5 hours per week or part-time contracts, subject to a minimum of 15 hours per week. The ability to work independently and use your own initiative is essential for this role.
A car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle) are required for this position, with mileage allowance paid. Full training is provided, and opportunities exist to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
