We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Family Assessment Deputy Manager at our Family Assessment Centre in Stalybridge.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families, working closely with our management team to deliver high-quality services and drive continuous improvement.

About the Centre:

Our Family Assessment Centre is a leading provider of family-focused services, dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and their families. Our team of experienced professionals works together to deliver tailored interventions, promoting positive change and improving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management team in the planning and delivery of services.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures, aligned with our organisational values and goals.
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and partner agencies to promote our services and achieve mutual benefits.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of allocated funds.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role within the social care sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies governing the social care sector.
