About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Production Manager to join our team at Engineering Careers. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and assembly of switchgear and control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations in the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Assign tasks and oversee the assembly of electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems according to engineering drawings and production timescales.
  • Oversee the testing of switchgear, control panels, and busbar systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide leadership to the workshop team, maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, particularly in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
