Electrical Panel Production Manager

Your new company is a leading provider of high voltage and low voltage package substations, switchboards, and motor control centres. They serve a diverse range of customers throughout the UK and Ireland, including those in retail, healthcare, leisure, commercial, industrial, and data services sectors.
This company is experiencing rapid growth in global critical infrastructure markets and is looking for an ambitious individual to take on a key role in their workshop operations.
As a Control Panel Workshop Manager, you will oversee the production and assembly of switchgear and control panels. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, assigning tasks, and ensuring workflow efficiency. You will work closely with the design team to ensure compliance with project specifications and provide leadership to the workshop team, maintaining high safety standards.
Key responsibilities will also include the assembly of electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems according to engineering drawings and production timescales, as well as overseeing the testing of switchgear, control panels, and busbar systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in a similar position, particularly in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment. A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
