Job Title: Fire Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Manager to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Fire Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's fire safety obligations are met, with a focus on domestic dwellings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the contract administration and management of major fire safety contracts, ensuring they are within budget and meeting specified KPIs.
  • Oversee fire safety construction projects, including but not limited to Compartmentation and fire stopping projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all matters relating to the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the Fire Safety Order 2005.
  • Manage and coordinate fire safety upgrades and programmes.
  • Directly line manage a team of in-house contractors and administrators.
  • Monitor and control budgets for all fire safety projects and conduct detailed cost analysis.
  • Uphold all 'Golden Thread' information, ensuring data is accurate and robust.
  • Complete pre and post inspections of work, in particular relating to the work of third-party contractors.
  • Ensure all CDM requirements are met.
  • Tender for and procure contractors.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a HND in construction or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in fire safety.
  • Working knowledge of The Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Regulatory Reform Order 2005.
