About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Programmes Administrator to join our team at Buckinghamshire Health and Social Care Academy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our programme teams, maintaining our website and social media accounts, and assisting with project planning and administration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to programme teams, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
  • Maintain the Academy's website and social media accounts, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with project planning and administration, including data collection, collation, and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of professional staff and the public, handling confidential and sensitive data with discretion.
  • Support the team with finance oversight, including budget management and procurement.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with NHS standards.
  • Utilize advanced MS Office suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to produce reports and presentations.
  • Work autonomously, using initiative and judgment to resolve issues and make decisions.
Requirements
  • Degree in business administration or equivalent level of experience, with high-level numeracy and written and spoken English skills.
  • Advanced use of MS Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion.
  • Flexibility to travel across Buckinghamshire County, as required.
