Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join our team at York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the building and engineering staff, ensuring the maintenance of all properties and plant, and providing building service provision in line with statutory legislation and guidance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Line management and day-to-day supervision of staff
  • Prioritizing and organizing the workload of the team
  • Fault finding and operating estates systems
  • Liaising with other departments across the wider Trust
  • Keeping records up to date
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification or equivalent level of experience, and have completed an accredited trade-specific apprenticeship with at least two years of post-apprenticeship training. Specialist expertise in health service knowledge across a range of technical subjects is desirable.
