Nursery Manager Opportunity

Mama Bear's Day Nursery Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care and education to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the nursery, ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children, and promoting good practice among staff. They will also be responsible for financial management, staff deployment, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislations and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Management of the nursery and overall care and education for the children.
  2. Conducting meetings with staff members and ensuring effective staff deployment.
  3. Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children is always paramount in the nursery.
  4. Assuming responsibility for the daily operation of the nursery with agreed plans and budgets.
  5. Financial management, including monitoring and reporting own budget, income expenditure, forecast budget, and occupancy.
  6. Supporting the care and education of the children within a key person structure.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in a full and relevant Early Years qualification. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
