Mama Bear's Day Nursery Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team in Whitchurch, Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall care and education of the children, managing the nursery's daily operations, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislations and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Management of the nursery and the overall care and education for the children in the setting.
  2. Conducting meetings with staff members and ensuring effective staff deployment.
  3. Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children is always paramount in the nursery.
  4. Assuming responsibility for the daily operation of the nursery with agreed plans and budgets.
  5. Financial management with responsibilities for monitoring and reporting own budget, income expenditure, forecast budget, and occupancy.
  6. Supporting the care and education of the children in the nursery within a key person structure.
