**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Operations Manager to join our team in Birstall. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Assistant Service Manager in liaising between service reception and the workshop on repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that the right technician has been allocated the right job, and monitor the progress of repairs and services through to completion.
  • Control and monitor the quality of work produced by the service department, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that all service paperwork is completed to a high standard, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards.

**Requirements**

  • Commercial technical background or similar is essential.
  • A good communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and customers.
  • Able to work on own initiative, problem-solve, and prioritize effectively.
  • Current HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Computer skills advantageous.
