Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Nursery Manager to join our team at Children 1st Breedon House. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for the effective daily management of the nursery, ensuring that our high standards are maintained and our children receive the best possible care and education.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of nursery policies, Ofsted requirements, and procedures, and will be able to implement these effectively. You will also be responsible for managing budgets and people, leading and inspiring our nursery team, and promoting the nursery within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
  • Lead and inspire our nursery team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Manage budgets and people, ensuring that our financial and human resources are used effectively.
  • Implement nursery policies, Ofsted requirements, and procedures, ensuring that our children receive the best possible care and education.
  • Promote the nursery within the local community, building relationships with parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a nursery or education setting.
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ3 or equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of nursery policies, Ofsted requirements, and procedures.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
