Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Aylesbury

In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work in a mainstream primary school setting in Aylesbury. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be responsible for leading classes and developing children's skills in their learning. This role requires you to teach and cover classes in teacher's absences, using your planning to continue students' learning without disruption.

You will be working with pupils across the school and contributing to extracurricular activities outside of the classroom. Your skills and experience will be utilized to support the learning and development of each pupil dedicated to you, ensuring they are encouraged, supported, and managed effectively to meet their needs.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a passion for working with children, confidence, and the ability to prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, small groups, or the class as a whole. Assessing pupil progress and developing professional relationships with staff, pupils, and parents are also essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or previous teaching assistance experience
  • Ability to prepare and deliver learning activities
  • Confidence when working with children
  • Passion for education

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
