Job Title: Inclusive Services Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as an Information, Advice & Support Service Officer. This role requires someone with a caring nature, who can work with integrity, assertiveness, and calmness.

You will be part of a dynamic team delivering an innovative service, working from home with occasional visits to a Council office in Cheshire West and Chester.

About the Role:
  • Provide information and advice to parents/carers and young people about special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Enable them to participate in identifying and reviewing their own/child's special education needs and provision offered.
  • Presentation of workshops and training sessions to empower Parents/Carers to self-advocate and have their voices heard.

Fully Agile: Workers work from a home base with occasional visits to a Council office. Many services and customers span across Cheshire West and Chester, requiring flexibility to work at any location.

Requirements:

A current full driving license is required. The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including Children's/Adults Barred List.

Estimated Salary:

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum.

This salary reflects the level of responsibility and expertise required for this role in Cheshire West and Chester.
