Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Control System Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank, a Cumbrian based specialist machine manufacturing company. The successful candidate will have expertise in PLC programming and fault-finding, as well as experience in working with control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the engineering team with PLC & control system fault finding and rectification.
  • Develop new PLC programs and software updates when required.
  • Assess risks in relation to control systems (e.g., PLCs) and necessary contingencies for failure or upgrade.
  • Support the maintenance team in maintaining the plant and equipment to agreed standards.
Requirements:
  • Essential skills include PLC programming, fault-finding, and experience with control systems.
  • Desirable knowledge includes COMPEX and hydraulics/pneumatics.
