Senior Planner - Construction

A leading privately-owned Top 10 building contractor is seeking a Senior Planner to join their growing team at their head office in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Planner to work on award-winning design and build projects from tender stage to completion.

The successful candidate will work on projects across commercial, education, leisure, high-rise residential, student accommodation, and mixed-use sectors ranging from 25m - 125m.

The company has a great network of repeat clients, a solid supply chain, and a full pipeline of work for 2024 / 2025 / 2026.

The Senior Planner will be responsible for:

  • Producing tender programmes at pre-construction stage
  • Developing logistics plans and construction phase planning
  • Identifying opportunities and risks
  • Using ASTA planning software

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working as a planner for a main contractor
  • Experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
  • Experience on Design & Build projects
  • Construction related qualifications

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, the candidate must be able to demonstrate experience as a Senior Planner with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction company delivering D&B projects valued at 10m+.
