Job Title: Senior Financial Planner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planner to join our team in Nottingham. As a Senior Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing leadership and guidance to the Technical and Administration teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent client service while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the Technical and Administration teams
* Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA's Conduct rules, and the relevant Financial Conduct Authority rules
* Keep up to date with relevant products, including legislative and technical changes
* Maintain sufficient relevant CPD and record it accurately
* Provide ongoing technical and financial planning advice to clients
* Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional, prompt, accurate, and courteous manner

Requirements:

* Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
* Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial planning or working towards it
* Experience in a paraplanning or technical role gained within a financial planning firm
* Experience working in a client-facing advisory role in a financial planning firm
* Experience using a full range of provider products, services, and capabilities
* Experience in building and maintaining excellent relationships both internally and externally
* Knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice
* Knowledge and understanding of FCA suitability requirements
* Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, ensuring accuracy and high levels of attention to detail
