Care Home Service Administrator Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Home Service Administrator to join our team at Carrington Blake Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our care home services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Meet and greet visitors, provide a professional approach on the phone and in person with all enquirers, families of residents, residents, and staff.
- Administrative Support: Maintain a list of ongoing customer contacts, monitor and formally record all enquiry follow-ups and calls, and ensure all communication notice boards are up to date, display accurate information, and are tidy and professional at all times.
- Confidentiality and Record-Keeping: Maintain confidentiality around all matters relating to residents and staff, and maintain accurate resident and colleague records, including next of kin and emergency contact details.
- Financial Administration: Accountable for the administration of key financial processes, submission of accurate invoicing/funding information to the Finance Team, and liaison with referrers/CCG and other funders to ensure the correct funding is in place for each resident.
- Purchasing and Invoicing: Purchasing responsibilities include ordering goods and services, receipting deliveries, and approval of invoices for payment.
- Agency Hours and Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely capture and reporting of any agency hours.
