We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Morden. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with SEMH.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEND, focusing on their academic and personal development.
- Assist in the implementation of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) to ensure students receive the necessary support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' growth and independence.
- Develop and deliver engaging activities to support students' learning and development.
- Relevant experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and associated difficulties.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and other support staff.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students' individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
- Enhanced DBS and experience with safeguarding processes.
- Availability to work 5 days a week (8:30-15:30) term time.
As a Teaching Assistant with Protocol Education, you will have access to:
