Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Esh Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing civil engineering activities on schemes within the General Civils Sector. This will include:

  • Leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver civil engineering schemes
  • Developing and implementing safe methods of work to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of measurement and quantities for direct and subcontract works
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective communication and project delivery
Key Responsibilities

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing engineering plans and specifications
  • Coordinating and managing the work of engineers, technicians, and other personnel
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and innovation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Extensive experience in civil engineering, preferably in a leadership or management role
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including CAD, N4CE/LSS, and project management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
