Senior Civil/Infrastructure Design Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a reputable SME based in Newcastle, is seeking a Senior/Associate level Civil/Infrastructure design engineer to join their multi-disciplined office. This is a quality career opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company in a great working environment.

About the Role

This role involves assisting with the design of infrastructure drainage and road schemes. You will be using software packages such as AutoCAD, Microdrainage, PDS, and Civils3D. Your responsibilities will include becoming the point of contact for clients and architects, providing opportunities to visit sites and attend meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide infrastructure (civil, highways, and drainage) design.
  2. Liaise with other members of the design team to achieve a coordinated design solution that meets the clients' objectives.
  3. Prepare high-quality technical reports.
  4. Ensure that quality and consistency of technical output (drawings, reports, etc.) is maintained.
  5. Manage junior staff and create a leadership/mentor approach.
