Residential Care Specialist with a Focus on Independence

Semester is committed to supporting young people throughout their journeys. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Care Specialist to join our team in our leaving care service.
Salary: Estimated £30,720 - £33,624 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing direct care and support to young people aged 16+, including sleep-in shifts.
- Developing life skills, such as meal preparation, house cleaning, and financial planning.
- Promoting education, training, or employment opportunities.
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the well-being of young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with young people in a residential setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
