Financial Collections Specialist

**About the Role:**
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction company as a Financial Collections Specialist. This role involves managing and owning all aged debt portfolios, running weekly reports, and holding meetings with Managers to update on bad debt and escalation processes.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of credit control in a similar environment, competence to deal effectively with staff and clients at all levels, and high numeracy and accuracy skills. The role also requires excellent organisation and time management skills, ability to work to achieve deadlines, and appropriate computer skills (e.g., Sage 50 Professional, Excel, Google Docs).
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Management and ownership of all aged debt portfolio from telephone, emails, overdue letters, all the way through to solicitors if required.
* Run weekly reports on all aged debt and hold weekly meetings with Managers updating on bad debt and escalation process.
* Manage the escalation process for payments outside of terms.
**Salary:** £34,000 dependent on experience.
We estimate that this role offers a salary range of £32,500 to £37,500 based on industry standards and location.
