Dewsbury Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Dewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive environment, providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading the psychiatric care of patients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric assessments and diagnosis for patients within an inpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring patient-centered care
- Provide expert guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and other team members
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care
- Offer support for mental health and crisis management, including medication management
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, adhering to relevant policies and guidelines
- Provide teaching, training, and support to staff and contribute to clinical audits and research
- Participate in on-call and out-of-hours services as required
Estimated salary: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum.
