We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Functional Skills Cover Tutor at PeoplePlus. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Functional Skills training to learners in a prison-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills training programs for small groups of learners.
  • Work closely with learners to identify their skills gaps and develop personalized training plans to support their long-term goals and aspirations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to learners to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that training plans are in place and that learners receive the highest level of quality support.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials to meet the needs of our learners.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Maths and English qualifications or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in delivering training and education programs.
  • Proven ability to engage learners and deliver high-quality training programs.
  • A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a prison-based setting and build strong relationships with learners and colleagues.
