Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Tutor to deliver high-quality training and assessment to learners at HMP Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching a range of knowledge and skills to support learners in the Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality facilitation, teaching, learning, and assessment to encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision and progress into employment.
  • Develop learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet aims.
  • Provide valuable input to quality-approved schemes of work, session plans, and delivery resources.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (e.g. AET / PTLLS/ CertEd)
  • Assessing qualification L3 or equivalent
  • Health and Safety qualification at L3 or above
  • Construction trades employment background with experience of at least 2 years
