Role Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Assessment Team as Social Work Professionals.

About the Role

As a Social Work Professional, you will engage with children, young people, and their families to conduct thorough assessments of Children in Need and Children in Need of Protection. You will work within the policies and procedures of Together for Children and Sunderland Safeguarding Children Partnership to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with children, young people, and their families to assess their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement support plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
What We Offer

As a Social Work Professional with Together for Children, you can expect a competitive salary package, including:

  • A salary of £36,124 - £45,718 per annum.
  • An Essential Car User Allowance of £1,239 per annum.
  • A 2% Recruitment and Retention Allowance.

In addition, you will benefit from flexible working arrangements, up to 31 days of annual leave, and access to our excellent health and wellbeing programme.
