Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Windowstore. This role is essential in supporting the Branch Manager to drive operational success and enhance customer satisfaction.

Location: West Drayton

Working Hours: 7:30am - 4pm

Compensation: Competitive salary package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in achieving strategic objectives.
  • Promote sales growth and improve profitability.
  • Support functions related to sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Provide additional assistance as directed by the Branch Manager.
  • Engage in quoting and selling our PVC product offerings to clients.
  • Manage financial transactions, including cash handling and banking, in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners while adhering to established authorization protocols.
  • Report on financial metrics, sales figures, and overall business performance.
  • Oversee daily logistics for deliveries and dispatch, ensuring efficient routing.
  • Ensure timely entry of invoices, sales orders, and credit notes into the system.
  • Uphold Health and Safety standards in accordance with current regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized branch environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Exceptional sales, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Deep understanding of superior customer service principles.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Previous experience in a trade counter or branch sales environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the UPVC window and construction sectors is advantageous.
  • Proven sales record in the PVC building products or related industries.
  • A valid UK Driving License is required.
