Assistant Branch Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Window Store. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in driving sales and profitability, while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Branch Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets
  • Drive sales and customer engagement through effective communication and relationship-building
  • Provide support in areas of sales, customer service, and stock control
  • Quoting and selling of PVC product range to customers
  • Manage cash, banking, and payment schemes in accordance with company procedure and policies
  • Liaise with suppliers, merchandisers, and other partners to ensure seamless operations
  • Report on costs, sales, and business performance
  • Manage daily delivery and dispatch process, ensuring correct routing
  • Ensure invoices, sales orders, and credit notes are entered onto the system within a set timeframe
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards in line with current legislation
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the branch

Requirements:

  • Excellent sales, communication, and organisational skills
  • Firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experience
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • PC literate
  • Previous sales experience in a branch (Trade Counter) environment would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience within the UPVC window, cellular, and composite door or wider construction industries would be an advantage
  • A full UK Driving licence is required
