Special Educational Needs Teacher

Polaris Education is a community of schools dedicated to improving the lives of young people. We are seeking an experienced SEN Class Teacher to join our team in Huddersfield, where you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the complex SEMH needs of our students.
Our school provides a safe and supportive environment for students from 5 to 18 years old, with a focus on promoting engagement, inspiring learning, and encouraging achievement. As part of our team, you will work closely with other staff to facilitate learning opportunities and promote positive behaviours.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold qualified teacher status (QTS) and have a strong basic education to degree level. Previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting is essential, as well as experience of behaviour management and techniques. A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn are also key qualities we look for in our teachers.
The salary for this role is £32,000 per annum, which reflects the local market rate for a SEN Class Teacher in Huddersfield. This includes a basic salary of £28,000-£38,000, plus additional benefits such as company pension, life assurance, and employee discount scheme.
