Special Educational Needs Educator Position

Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. They will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students with Special Educational Needs using evidence-based strategies.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress and adaptations made.
- Collaborate with the SENCo and other colleagues to integrate SEN students into mainstream classes.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
- Liaise with parents and carers to share student progress and involve them in decision-making.
Estimated Salary Range:
$27,000 - $40,000 per year, based on a 5-day workweek and 40 hours per week.
