Job Title: Sessional IQA Hospitality

The Sessional Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) role at Catch-22 is a critical position that ensures the quality of our qualifications delivered to 16-24 year olds. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager, Quality Team, and Study Programme college teams to provide effective internal quality assurance and robust feedback to students and assessors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide internal quality assurance for our colleges, ensuring that our qualifications meet the required standards.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to maintain the college's overall effectiveness, aiming for a consistently good or outstanding OFSTED rating.
  • Carry out formative and summative sampling in accordance with Awarding Bodies and Catch-22 requirements.
  • Support the requirements for external quality assurance and ensure direct claim status is obtained and maintained.
  • Support the quality of qualifications delivered, ensuring submissions meet Awarding Body standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive internal quality assurance records and follow internal quality assurance procedures as required.
  • Ensure all portfolios are submitted in time and to an excellent standard for external quality assurance visits, maintaining effective communication lines with all parties involved.
  • Monitor CPD and ensure all staff are occupationally up-to-date, identifying and acting upon development needs.
