Job Description

The Sessional IQA will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our educational programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing robust internal quality assurance for our colleges, focusing on 16-24 year olds, and delivering actionable feedback to students and assessors.
  • Collaborating with the Quality Manager to maintain an overall effectiveness rating of consistently good or outstanding, as judged by OFSTED.
  • Conducting formative and summative sampling in accordance with Awarding Bodies and Catch-22 requirements, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Supporting external quality assurance and maintaining direct claim status, guaranteeing the highest standards in qualifications delivery.
  • Ensuring the quality of qualifications delivered, aligning submissions with Awarding Body standards, and maintaining comprehensive internal quality assurance records.
  • Facilitating effective communication with all parties involved in delivery, ensuring timely and excellent submissions for external quality assurance visits.
  • Monitoring Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and ensuring all staff are occupationally up-to-date, identifying and addressing development needs.
