CV-Library is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team at the Rochester site of a leading defence manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and be able to interpret specifications, procedures, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Primary focal point for First Article Inspections – creating and reviewing FAIRs to AS9102 rev C.
  2. Taking responsibility for the resolution of quality issues through the structured application of problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  3. Working with key project stakeholders on quality investigations.
  4. Review and create First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102 Rev C.
  5. Review complex mechanical drawings.
  6. Support Quality Investigations.
Requirements:
  1. The ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and contract requirements.
  2. Quality Assurance Planning and awareness of EN9100 (AS9100), APQP/PPAP to AS9145 would be advantageous.
Qualifications:

NC or HNC qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent Quality experience.
