About the Role

Emirates NBD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, establishing, and implementing robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Governance Framework Development: Develop and implement effective governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Strategic Governance: Facilitate key governance forums, including preparation of executive-level governance papers and special presentations.
  • Scorecard Management: Manage the GCOO-GCHRO Scorecard to ensure progress, execution, and achievement of bank strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective governance management.
  • Performance Tracking: Undertake monthly progress and performance tracking against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Policy Review: Periodically review governance policies and procedures to ensure they remain accurate, up-to-date, and operationally embedded.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in risk management and control, with at least 5 years in a senior governance role.
  • Skills: Strong governance, business management, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
