Senior Electrical Engineer for Underwater Weapons Development

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical designs relating to Underwater Weapons. The role will provide you with the opportunity to join various complex Underwater Weapon development projects.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have experience of analogue and digital design, including component selection, evaluation and preparing technical documentation. You will also have experience of design proving, integration and defect resolution, as well as gathering evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements and safety.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is up to £55,000 depending on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Electronic Engineering or a strongly related subject
- Experience of analogue and digital design, including component selection, evaluation and preparing technical documentation
- Experience of design proving, integration and defect resolution
- Experience of gathering evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements and safety
