About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warhead Engineering Specialist to join our Surety Technology Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and testing warhead components and sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop warhead components and sub-systems
  • Manufacture and test warhead components and sub-systems
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure compliance with AWE's Product Lifecycle management process
  • Identify and mitigate risks to delivery of the Integrated Technical Programme

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and developing electronic systems
  • Knowledge of systems engineering integration principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and Subject Matter Experts
