Job Title: Piping/Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Piping/Mechanical Designer to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawing packages, conducting site surveys, and modeling pipework and mechanical equipment using 3D design software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare 3D models of proposed designs
  • Conduct detailed site surveys using Laser and Dumpy levels
  • Prepare deliverable drawings in AutoCAD
  • Produce MTOs to enable materials to be ordered in SAP
  • Carry out 3D model reviews
  • Produce vessel/equipment general arrangement drawings
Requirements:
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical/Piping design and drafting experience in the Petro-chemical industry
  • Knowledge of Plant3D design software and/or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £38 (Inside IR35) and a 6-month rolling contract.
