Pets at Home is looking for a highly skilled Transport Legal Compliance Manager to oversee fleet operations at our Stafford Fulfilment Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about transportation and compliance.

About the Job:

As a Transport Legal Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet operations comply with all relevant transport laws and regulations.

  1. You will work closely with our maintenance providers to ensure that our vehicles meet the necessary safety standards.
  2. You will be responsible for managing the Defect procedure and Service/MOT process, as well as staying up-to-date with any legislative changes in respect of Transport Law and Legal Compliance.
  3. You will conduct pre-employment LGV driving assessments for all new drivers, either agency or employed.
  4. You will monitor and manage the fleet in line with Operator License requirements.
  5. You will research industry developments to continually improve our fleet operations.
  6. You will assist the GM with the procurement process for new equipment.
  7. You will contribute to Continuous Improvement projects related to Transport Management.
