We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at VANRATH. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in expanding our client base within the construction and civils industry, focusing on onshore and offshore projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving organisation that values its staff, operating within the Construction/Mechanical and Engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Executive, your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, prospecting, and cultivating relationships with potential clients.
- Maintaining strong connections with existing clients to drive business growth.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to engage new clients and expand business opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.
- Proposing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or relevant field (not essential).
- A proven track record in business development ideally within the construction and civil engineering industry (although specific industry experience is not essential).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to travel as needed.
