Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at NP Aerospace Limited for a 12-month fixed-term appointment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive pre and post-contract support and guidance, focusing primarily on the UK market with limited involvement in export markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex customer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Draft, review, and execute various commercial agreements, including contracts, purchase orders, and other commercial documents.
  • Provide commercial input into bids and proposals for issue and presentation to customers.
  • Support the sales team in all commercial aspects relating to its Representatives network, including drafting and/or review, negotiation, and execution of distributor, reseller, and agent agreements.
  • Develop commercial strategies to address opportunities and risks, and report on commercial opportunities and risks to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Considerable experience in a commercial/contract management role, in either defence or a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in evaluating, drafting, negotiating, closing, and managing the legal, commercial, and contractual aspects of complex contracts.
  • Experience of contracting with/purchasing from prime defence or highly regulated contractors.
