Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to join our team at Adult Social Care. This role involves assisting the Home Manager in achieving operational objectives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.

As a Deputy Manager, you will oversee the care staff and assume full responsibility in the absence of the Home Manager. You will work closely with a dedicated team to provide excellent care to our residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in driving home operations towards set goals
  • Manage care staff and take charge when necessary
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager on pre-admission assessments for new residents
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date care plans and daily records
  • Nurture strong relationships with residents' families and external partners

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant Deputy Home Manager experience required
  • Ability to engage with service users and understand their needs
  • Familiarity with CQC standards is essential
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to promoting resident involvement in care planning

Salary and Benefits: £24.50 per hour + benefits package. Estimated annual salary: £51,040 based on 40 hours/week and 52 weeks/year.
